THE PROJECT
The design aimed to incorporate the deep values of the region’s vernacular architecture represented in the everyday life, The Mohammad Al-Shaikh Residence emulates the solid and strong bonds of extended families which forms the essence of traditional Saudi societies.
The Mohammad Al-Shaikh Residence consists of residential units are connected with alleys, pathways and courts, and are divided into two parts; one serving the men and the other with a more secluded privacy serving the family. The project is designed to respect all forces and elements of the area in order to create a vital environment.
