THE PROJECT
The palace consists of two floors in addition to basement and roof floor. The designer concept is to create an Arabic home with courtyards to gain light and fresh air through natural circulation. Separate entrances been created to have the privacy and suitable distribution of functions wherein the salons, dining, receptions found in the ground floor but the bedrooms in the first floor. All the services are in the basement.
The Islamic vocabularies and architectural language have been implemented in the elevations to reflect the authenticity of the building. The designer used pointed and segmental arches to emphasize this.
