As a reflection of the heritage of UAE and the spirit of traditional architecture, Hamdan Bin Zayed Mosque arises as a landmark in Al-Ain, celebrating the heritage of the city and combining it with sustainability through a modern approach, where the planning of the mosque was inspired by the agricultural system in the Aflaj in arranging the site and its surroundings.
With a capacity of about 2500 worshippers, this Mosque consists of one storey, which includes a male praying hall, female praying hall that can be used by men on regular days, ablutions’ areas, as well as a small library, a Quran school and residences for Imam and Mo’athen.
