About
THE PROJECT

The project is a prototype for different alternatives that suit various site locations in Saudi Arabia. Flexibility is one of the main concerns throughout the design. The project consists of three floors including educational facilities such as classrooms labs and other facilities that serve both the surrounding society and the students, such as workshops, a gymnasium, a library and a mosque. Outdoor courts, walls and plazas form an important part of the design framework. Materials used are carefully chosen to distinguish and emphasize the various functions, circulation and gathering areas. The architectural character is inspired by traditional architecture and blends itself to a number of interpretations that reflect regional variations.
