About
THE PROJECT

This project focused initially on analysis the status quo of the museum to provide an upgrade that would increase the number of visitors to the museum as part of the 2030 vision. The design interventions focused on making the entrance more welcoming and included circulation improvements through the museum. A team of design specialists have also worked on upgrading the displayed contents using high tech technology and interactive methods. This is in addition to improving the public realm of the area through attractive landscape designs that manifest socio-spatial relations within the exterior spaces. This was also achieved through the introduction of new functions such as a restaurant and cafeteria.
