About
THE PROJECT
The Khalda Project is designed to become the hub of shopping and entertainment in the heart of the city of Amman. Breaking away from the monotonous Amman-architecture, the Khalda Project is designed to mimic Petra’s famous ‘Siq’ experience – the narrow opening between the mountains of Petra that lead to the treasury. The project features an urban pathway that runs in the middle of a 6 floor high structure. Within this alleyway is a vibrant public urban space, that runs through the entire project plot offering a unique and enjoyable pedestrian experience with interactive shops and facades on the ground level.
