About
THE PROJECT
The Court Complex in Tripoli – Libya was to be the official Courthouse building in the country. With a transcendent and monumental approach; the court main facades were designed to have a symmetrical front elevation with natural stone arcades of huge courses. The project was raised significantly from the surroundings level with large scale stairs, assuring the huge main entrance has the dreaded aura this place has; while the large dome added the luxury image and the imperial effect to the space. The decorative screens inspired from the Libyan traditional architecture -with a contemporary approach- was one of the elements that connected the heritage with the present in this majestic building.
