THE PROJECT
The Family Development Foundation was established in 2006 pursuant to Law No. (11/2006) issued by HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. The foundation is chaired by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak. The law stipulates that the Foundation shall replace the Abu Dhabi Women’s Association and its branches, offices, agencies and clubs, and shall take over all the assets, property and real estate on those bodies and their rights and obligations. The Family Development Foundation is a public non-profit organization.
The Abu Dhabi Government now intends to construct a new Headquarters for Family Development Foundation in alignment with Abu Dhabi Government Vision 2030.
