THE PROJECT
The program of the project consists mainly of offices, reception halls and meeting rooms in addition to the new Diwan Hall. The main objective of this project is to undertake a comprehensive reorganization of the existing Diwan building and the facilities around it; in addition to the design of a new Diwan building. The theme of this project consists of renovation, rebuilding, rehabilitation through reorganization and re-landscaping of the whole site. The architectural composition and image are inspired by local a tradition which expresses simplicity, geometry, and environmental sensitivity with a creative use of rich materials and intricate Islamic patterns appropriate to this building type.
