THE PROJECT

This project is intended as a new addition to the growing campus of Jordan University of Science and Technology. It includes two parts: The first part consists of a combined activities stadium, including, Olympic sized covered hand ball, volley ball, basket ball, and tennis courts with supporting facilities, such as, administration, referees, first aid, and wet areas, while the second part consists of a covered semi-Olympic swimming pool, fitness center, squash, table tennis, dormitories, and a cafeteria. The architectural image reflects the advanced nature of Jordan University of Science and Technology, through a contemporary character using a combination of stone cladding, steel structure, reinforced concrete, and glass.
